What is the best fitting high quality replacement side mirrors? I have powered mirrors.

I think I want to stay stock on my 97 k1500. Unless there's some really good suggestions.

You can also still order acdelco replacements. I did it for both of my truck's mirrors. Fit just fine, absolutely zero shake. The passenger side mirror is a little more difficult to find because they're usually on backorder but you can still buy them both new

If you can get OEM it's absolutely the best way to go. I haven't seen an aftermarket copy of the factory black plastic folding mirror that didn't shake, or eventually get floppy at the fold joint so that it moves back and forth when you brake/accelerate.

Really almost none? If I have to get them from the junkyard how do I know I'm getting OEM?

Is there a newer model mirror that fits really well that I can find new?

Look for the GM part number. Check to see that it matches what you already have and/or doesn't look like a cheap replacement.

Where is it stamped? I don't have my originals anymore to look.

One pretty obvious giveaway I've noticed, mind you it might not be 100% - GM mirrors have torx screws where the mirror head attaches to the base, right there underneath where you can see without any disassembly. Every single aftermarket mirror I've seen has regular philips head screws.

Give the mirror head a gentle shove forward and backward. Not enough to fold it, but to see if it "flops" ...
