Hi Guys,

New member here. I hope everyone's staying healthy. Anyway, I put together a 1990 K2500 this past fall and built a fairly nasty 355" with a Turbo 400 and stall converter behind it. The AC hadnt worked in the truck so i removed everything under the hood to clean it up a bit. Who on here has removed the AC condenser for direct airflow into the radiator and how much did it lower operating temps?

Thanks and be safe!

Your thermostat controls the coolant temperature. If you're running too hot because of a restriction in the A/C condensor, you would see a temperature drop. Otherwise your temperature should remain the same.
