    Yes those will work great, I believe the flange on the head is serrated so it won't back out, if not and you're worried lock washer it assuming you have enough thread engagement to do so.     Cutting them works awesome, I would also drill the spring hole a little higher up so there's more tension on it. I advise that because I had used 20" blades on stock arms but they would chatter in heavy rain and snow. End result worked out great for me and currently Using 22" blades.
