new tahoe feels slow as $hit!!

What kind of mileage is it getting? It's a shot in the dark, but a screwy O2 sensor will make it run rich and make it sluggish. It won't always throw a CEL.

98 k1500 5.7 starting issue

I've had a few full size GMT400 trucks and every time it's been running fine and then wouldn't start it was the fuel pump. Do you have an actual fuel pressure gauge or are you using a scan tool?

Lets talk ball joints

I'll take one tomorrow. I thought I had one kicking around but I don't. I actually took my CB out because I never talk on it. I just programmed the 40 CB channels into the scanner so I can listen to them. I have it mounted on an over head shelf like LMC truck sells. Very handy.

Un-cranking and repairing damage questions

I wouldn't necessarily blame it on your crank. All of those parts would be shot at that mileage anyway. Uncranking it will be easier on your new parts though. Most of it connects to other parts you're going to replace so that will make it a tad easier to replace. I would personally...

Adventures of my 'budget' Color-match grille (Lots of pics)

I think the grill looks nice. I did the same color match job on my Tahoe but I started with a black grill instead of the chrome one. Did you hit it with some clear coat? That might make it last a little longer.

1996 K2500 Diesel Suburban - What's this thing behind my grill?

Your picture isn't the greatest but it could be the PMD. Open your hood and look for a one attached to the injection pump.
