Power Steering Cooler (In-Frame, '97 K2500)
I have 2 of these trucks sees the puddle of power steering fluid in front. No problem will just replace the cooler like I had on to do on the other one, along with fuel lines, trans lines, brake lines on both. WTF kind of idiot puts the “cooler” in the frame. Yeah that is what I was thinking too. Yeah the cap fit snugly over the clip. They were new lines and it was a tight fit on the sides of the trans but clip was on and plastic too. Only thing I can think of is that the flange on the line was not in far enough ?- Rackii69

Poor 4l80
Looking for input. So I replaced trans lines and stupid line pop off from quick disconnect. Drove less then 1 mile to home. Refilled the trans fluid and now slips between 1-2 and engages hard. Trans cooler lines on 4L80e
These are the hard lines running back from the cooler to the transmission. Both trucks are L31 5.7’s the only reservation I have is the lines connectors going into the trans: I plan to do the work this weekend so hopefully I can get to them. Thanks for the reply’s- Rackii69
