I need help finding an axle bearing seal for my 1990 454ss 14 bolt rear. No parts store has it (when matched up to the old one). I cant find a definite answer online either. Any help is appreciated.
Replacing the both lower and upper ball joints on my 1990 454ss. I am reusing the stock spindle. What is the correct torque for the upper and lower castle nut. Also do i add any grease to the ball joint shafts where they pivot in the spindle? Thank you Merry Christmas.
I agree the factory manifolds are junk but i want to stay as factory as i can get without spending a bunch of money. I am referring to the flange where the exhaust pipe connects to the collector flange at the bottom of the manifold.
there is no way (with the tools and know how i have) I can remove the remainder of the flange studs from the flange holes. I assume they are threaded...
Yeah thats what I’m afraid of. I dont want to go with headers because i want to stay as close to stock as i can. I wanted to replace them because the studs on the flanges are so rusted there is no way i can get the remainder of the stud out…is there a con with using gaskets? Thanks
I need to replace my exhaust manifolds on my 1900 454ss. I am looking at the doorman manifolds at summit. They come with gaskets, but are gaskets necessary since they didnt use them from the factory? TIA
