I have a 91 needle cluster with tach and i want to install it into a 89 C2500HD that currently has the moonie gauges.
What rewiring (if any) do i need to do?
Is it possible to take the brackets and hardware off of a NBS Truck or Suburban 10 bolt Axle?
Im planning on converting to 6 lug by a axle swap.
Just want to know if its possible or am I better off using an entire 10 bolt rearend off of a NBS suburban or truck?
I Did the RWAL (Rear Wheel Anti Lock) Delete on my 91 that got stolen 2 years ago. I have a 94 now I am going to do the same thing expect Im going to do the MC Upgrade.
I am wondering if there is a common ground running for the cluster?
I got more information today about the history of this truck. It was stolen in 1992 and the steering column was ripped out of it. I am wondering if they didn't break a common ground somewhere?

Here is my remedy. First you start off with this:
(Not pictured: 1/4" Square Wooden dowels, E6000 Glue)
Then I used the dremel/B&D RTX/Rotory tool (ill refer to as dremel) to cut off the remaining portions of the original standouts for the light switch.
Getting 1/4" wooden dowels...

I am going to try something with a bezel from a 1992 GMC.
As 99.99999% of yall know these bezels had problems with the mounting screws holes with the headlight switch.
They crack and the next time you turn on your headlights...
