American ethanol is a joke, if it was subsidized by the federal govt it would fail horribly.
That being said, it runs fine in my vehicles! I wish I could get straight gas for my boat and 2 stroke landscaping equipment.
Every vehicle made since the early 90's has been designed to run on fuels with ratios of ethanol much much higher than 10%. INCLUDING THE GMT400!!!
When the ethanol blends where first proposed decades ago, different ratios from 10-50% were proposed. The auto manufacturer hedged their bets and...
Also, in the 80's the entire automobile industry here stopped using natural rubber in fuel systems and switched to synthetic because of the use of alcohol fuels. Brazil is oil independent and have done extensive research on the subject, at the time the US was going to try and copy the Brazilian...
My 95 c1500 and my 96 Jeep cherokee both run great on E85 fuel.
In the summer time I run the jeep one a 50/50 blend of E10 and E85, it runs a lot cooler which helps with the 4litre cooling issues.
I say again, I have ran straight E85 in both with no problems, however I typically blend 50/50...
I have never liked the look of the valence, first thing I did was rip that off. I think it looks cleaner without it.
What purpose does it serve, other than falling off practically everytime something touches it.
Thanks for the compliment, I bought 4 cans but only used 2.
A little tip, if you warm up the can the product flows a lot better. A cold can will result in a uneven coat. I placed the cans in front of a small ceramic space heater till it was warm to the touch, not hot, perhaps 90 degrees or so...
Pleased to say after a couple of months the rustoleum bedliner is holding up really well, my driveway is gravel and the rocks I throw every morning when I leave don't seem to be phasing it. Best 15$ I've spent yet.
I didn't say I didn't like your truck, it's a clean truck.
And also I didn't say one negative thing. I merely stated some dialogue as to why he hates bedliner/blacked out chrome.
Pissed off isn't the word I would use, thought it was amusing after thumbing through 180 pages of this "build".
Your truck basically looks stock, yet you bag on those how prefer a two tone look.
