are you sure id have to machine the block. from what ive read over the last few weeks all the blocks have the ability as long as the came has the lobe and the pushrod for the fuel pump is in the block.
i knew i could use a stock roller set up if it had the flatt tappett but still had the amenities for the roller setup just had to make sure it did have the flatt tappet and not the roller like the l31 motors (96-200ish vortecs). guess ill just have to crack it open and see if the roller...
trying to figure out what cam came in those motors. ie. hydraulic roller, flat tappet etc. i need to figure out becuase im using a motor from a 95 k1500 in my 92 trans am motor swap and im going to be building a 383 and need to know what type of cam to buy or if i need to buy a hyrdraulic roller...
damn the only thing ive ever managed to break was my rear differential ring and pinion...and spider gears..and a carrier assembly hahahaha. crown royal and coke and donuts in a waffle house parking lot at 3 am after some dude pulled up in a chicks truck and told me I couldn't even spin the tires...
yea its not the best color but it was already that color when I bought and there isn't a single dent, scratch or chip or speck of rust on the truck so I had to take it haha and for some reason the chicks dig the out of it haha
