Weird door pin bushing issue

Dealer couldn't help me either. He called GM parts and they told him it was a mid 2000 rolling change... Apparently you have to buy the whole hinge which is $190 or something like that... I just drilled the hinge to accept the normal bushing. I did purchase GM bushings to use.

Old post but has anyone found a replacement for the smaller lower hinge bushing? I pulled a set of doors from a 99/2000 Denali to put on my 99 Z56 Tahoe. My original doors take the same Dorman 38416 bronze bushings with pins top and bottom. The Denali doors take a 38416 on the top hinge but they...

Will a '93 Suburban front clip fit a '97 W/T

In short, yes it will bolt on BUT you are going to have to do some wiring on the headlights to go from the sealed beam to composites but that's pretty simple. Your biggest problems going to be straightening that frame, especially the drivers side. It took a good shot there. If you're handy with...

I agree. He pulled that one off really well. I was building my old eclb at the same time as he built his back 15 years ago. Here's my old truck.

Thanks guys. I'm not a big fan of the stock Escalade/Denali bumpers. The 800 series bumper gives it more of a truck look IMO. It was fairly simple to adapt but I'm still not happy. I want to raise it up another inch to eliminate the gap as much as possible...

Looking at getting a door/pillar mounted spotlight... anyone else?

Old thread but if you're still looking, I recently removed the dual spots from my 99' Z56 Police Tahoe. They mount on the a pillar and you have to notch the outer door skin. If your interested in them, shoot me a pm and we can figure something out.

found my old truck...

You are 100% right. The truck cosmetically looked like ass but I overbuilt the frame when I did the stockfloored bd, all fuel and brake lines were replaced with stainless, 1/2" stainless hardlines for all the airride, custom built stainless fuel cell, etc... It just needed minor body work and paint

found my old truck...

He had the parts off the truck to put a new fuel pump in and repair the wiring for the front solenoids that was chewed up by a mouse or something. Truck was inside, parts were outside, scrappers saw it and grabbed the parts that were outside while he was at work. He already bought a Denali clip...

Question for the Esky/Denali front end guys

My first one I bought new over the counter at the Caddy dealer. I never did fill the holes, couldn't make my mind up on whether to make cladding for the rest of the body or not. Shame you aren't near NJ, I'm looking for another clip.

Thanks. :-) I put the Escalade front on in 2002 when it still had a 5/7 drop, then stockfloored it over the winter. I was glad I went with the Sierra bumper because the caddy bumper wouldn't lay out. The hood naturally uses Buick hinges. It was a pita to get it right and even then the hood...
