Fitment with 265/65/18 on stock suspension???

He said newer gen 6 lugs. Which to me would mean late model. Backspacing would be almost identical

    A/C help!

The flare end of the hose was being bitten into by the threads from the condenser nut fitting. I had to bang on it to get them to separate. Since I couldn't find a suitable replacement. I've been smoothing out the marks cut into the flared fitting. It seems to be ok. I honestly think the flared...

    A/C help!

Oreilly's I ended up taking them back. I also went to advance auto, autozone, and napa. They seem to be the exact same part with just different brands. The hoses were flexible rubber that I could easily squish. It would most likely expand when pressurized. Oem's are hard, like hydraulic style...

    A/C help!

I'm replacing the ac system in my 88 k2500. I'm having trouble finding the correct seals for the hose to compressor. The ones that came with it are too thin and one port is cut deeper than the original. Anyone have a part number for correct seals? I bought individual ones from napa but they...

    Pushrod problem

No disrespect but it sounds like you and your dad are over your heads with the required knowledge. It was suggested several times to take it down to the short block to check for damage. But sounds like you don't want to. Good luck with your truck

    Tbi help!

Vortec pumps are an upgrade to tbi's. Code 12 is related to the distributer. Look that part over, your pickup might be bad

    Tbi help!

I don't know how different those trucks are to regular ones. But 20 psi fuel pressure on a tbi is too high. In a regular 350 tbi the pressure is around 12

    New engine installed

My egr passages were blocked completely. I would also get code 32 on the old engine. Cleaned it up and haven't gotten that code with the new engine

I could have waited as well after tearing mine down

    New engine installed

I wouldn't say poor mileage. I averaged 13.71 with the old engine and 12.9 with the new one. I guess that's bad compared to new trucks nowadays. The idle issue is in my in iac or tps I believe. It goes into closed loop several minutes after the idle clears up. Verified by my snap on brick. It...

    New engine installed

I'll try this again. Every time I try to add pictures, it deletes everything I've written! I've had my new gm crate #12691671 installed for over a month now. I bought it from pace performance for $2910 with a $45 lift fee. Cheapest I found on the net. I looked into local shops here in Phoenix to...
