No. my motor doesn't have much done. Still uses stock heads, Edelbrock TBI intake (which does nothing but look better and offer weight savings) domed Pistons (which only yielded me 9:1 compression). Still have stock exhaust manifolds, stock y pipe, stock tbi with slightly stiffer spring in it...

heads/cam/carb swap 350 tbi worth it?

Get aluminum heads and make sure your new combo, (intake, cam, converter, exhaust)all mingles and don't hodgepodge it and you'll be happy. Horsepower depends on the overall package but if you choose the right combo you'll easily surpass the 300hp mark. LS swsps are ok but I would stick with...

My New Project

Nice project im ok with carbs depending on application/vehicle but I think I woulda just bore scoped it, inspect oil filter that came off it and ran it with the fuel injection that was on it and went from there. My buddy has a little 2wd blazer and that's what he did. JY 5.3L/4L60. Has headers...
