They did a shift kit, heavy duty clutch packs and a lot of other things, I'd have to grab the receipt to look at it all, but they are the same shop that rebuilt one for my buddy in his 90 suburban that I've Made a few threads on here for (he finally sold it a few months ago) and his held up...

They can be built to hand respectable power and people like them for the gearing over the 80e. I would have swapped it if I had the time but oh well, maybe I'll get to it next time

Just wanted to give an update, I ended up having the trans rebuilt due to time constraints and while that was being taken care of I decided to finally Crack the heads off the motor and fix what I thought to be a bad head gasket after cooking the motor to the point that the stock exhaust...

Burned out my 4l60e... again

After some more digging I found out that the free floating check ball is the reverse/low check ball that is supposed to be secured, I found that some people pull that one out as it was found to get stuck and burn the low and reverse clutches. Is this true?

My 93 ld2500 crapped out my 4l60e again and this time I decided to rebuild it myself. I'm in the middle of the teardown to find out that out of 8 check balls in the valve body I had 7, removed the top half of the valve body and found number 8 where it should be (que sigh of relief) only one...

Wont start

Alright, replaced the prom still having the same issue, every ground I have found is clean. If I manually ground the injectors they spray just fine still, could it be the pigtails at the injectors, they physically LOOK okay but I'm still wondering

Never mind, they are getting 11.76 volts, it's not grounding out in the ecm properly, maybe it's the prom as mentioned above

Well then I'll have to hook a fuel pressure gauge up to it myself, his shop told him he's running over 40 now right at the back of the throttle body so I guess I'll have to see when I get the chance to hook it up

The tech at the shop he's working at originally tested fuel pressure at the throttle body, it came back to 12 pounds, they told him it wasn't enough and that's why it wasn't getting fuel, so they had him buy a new pump and they tested pressure again and got over 40 pounds. They were trying to...

He's got over 40 lbs Tested from the back of the throttle body by the shop he works at, I'm currently driving and need a few minutes but I'll explain in a second. His shop totally screwed him with this one and I'm just trying to figure it out for him.
