Yes I’m running the BMW sensor. I had the 180 thermostat and the engine never git warm enough to hit the optimal operating temp. So I swapped back to the 195. Now it gets plenty warm enough. I see get to just below 210 and then goes down and stays right around the 200 area like it should...
Ok so today I put the 195 thermostat back in. It seems to have made the difference I was looking for now the temps get up to the 200-210 range and hover in that area like it's supposed to. We'll see how well it stays working out. I am however going to look for a key on positive to hook in line...

I got it in 1-5/16 x 14mm x 1.5P.
Although I may be changing it out since the temps are staying to low. I’m going to get either a 200 or a 210 temp switch then swap the thermostat back to...

That makes sense, I want to eventually do the vortec heads but since I’m in ca I need the egr and the gm intake that had the provision for it is really expensive L0L! I don’t mind the fan running all the time. I am however still trying to figure out how I can turn it off when I turn off the...
I’ve been running a 180 in mine also and I’m just wondering if it is cooling too much. The temp never even gets near 200 and I believe the tbi engine runs around 200 for optimal running. I have a single dual speed fan out of an older tbird I grabbed from the bone yard. I’ve been thinking of...
I ended up installing a set of the fabtech upper control arms to get mine to align correctly. I also put in a set of moog cam bolt and what not. Haven't had any issues its been a little over a year now.

Well I finally got some time to work on the truck again. I installed the Efan setup that I have been sitting on for awhile LOL!
I did the best I could to make it look stock as possible. Aside from the relay that says Volvo on it LOL! Once it was done I fired it up and let it ru. For...
I use the same grease that I use for all the grease zerks under the truck. I don't remember the exact name but I believe it's red goo LOL! I get the tube at the local parts store and stick it in the gun and go to town LOL!
I'm going to the boneyard on Saturday. I always see them. I can grab you some. They don't cost anything hardly. I think when I got one for my truck back when I got it I paid like $2 L0L!
