    Hi/Lo beam situation

    I removed mine and rebuilt on the bench. I wouldn't atempt it any other way. It's a tedious job, but you can do it. Be very careful not to break the white 'key in' buzzer switch, like I did - was next to impossible finding a new one (can't figure why, as they built... millions?? of these...

    Roof moulding clips

    Not sure about a GM number, but LMC has them, if that works for you.. Roof joint moulding retainer p/n 31-1358. Same clip works for the roof and the rear of cab.

    Any idea where I can find this piece?

    Hard to judge by the pic, but that looks to be part of the (I guess) heat insulation/sound deadening that's on the inside of the firewall. It seems to be the same material as the jute padding under the truck's carpet. When I did my off frame resto, THAT'S the part I didn't bother with.

    I've had luck using my phone's 'Google lens' to identify connectors. If you manage to find a part number, look to RS Components, formerly Allied Electronics to order.

    I run an AC Delco ep381 with a Spectre sending unit. No complaints.
