    What to do with these?

I swear I saw somewhere that I'd need to be a member here for like... ever... to have enough street cred to post items for sale in the forum, so I won't post items for sale. Instead, I'll ask if someone could tell me where to unload this stuff? I'm not on any media except here, so I have zero...

    Hi/Lo beam situation

I removed mine and rebuilt on the bench. I wouldn't atempt it any other way. It's a tedious job, but you can do it. Be very careful not to break the white 'key in' buzzer switch, like I did - was next to impossible finding a new one (can't figure why, as they built... millions?? of these...

    95 Suburban, The family cruiser.

So I could sell my NIB APC clear tails and side markers for GMC for a pretty penny. What I figured. Thanks.

If you don't mind, what do those go for?

    Roof moulding clips

Not sure about a GM number, but LMC has them, if that works for you.. Roof joint moulding retainer p/n 31-1358. Same clip works for the roof and the rear of cab.

Any idea where I can find this piece?

Hard to judge by the pic, but that looks to be part of the (I guess) heat insulation/sound deadening that's on the inside of the firewall. It seems to be the same material as the jute padding under the truck's carpet. When I did my off frame resto, THAT'S the part I didn't bother with.

    HEI swap

@Schurkey, haha I took the high road with you last time, when my question got scrutinized - but never answered. Thanks for the props, but with all due respect, I don't need anyone telling me what's important in my build.... in part, because it's not actually my build. My skill level with 31...

    HEI swap

And another thing @GoToGuy if you don't know the answer, there's no need to chime in with bull$hit about fish and Gospel interpretations. I joined this forum in the hope of sharing knowledge with like minded people. Unfortunately, what I've found are guys who evidently haven't gotten laid since...

    Terminal ending!

I've had luck using my phone's 'Google lens' to identify connectors. If you manage to find a part number, look to RS Components, formerly Allied Electronics to order.

    HEI swap

Could someone on this forum... just once... answer a question without going down rabbit holes? No one asked whether or not a mystery transmission would hold up to a 454. For all we know, he's using a chain-driven rear setup from the 1800's. No one asked to move this to an lsx / carb swap forum...

If you know which wires from the original harness, would you share that? It sounds like the answer TWO of us are looking for.

Maybe this helps? @1:28 mentions a ppl/wht wire. When I converted from TBI to carb, I first did so without without connecting this wire, but because I felt she was cranking too long, I did some investigating and came across people talking about this wire, so I added this connection. I honestly...

    Ruptured Metal Brake Line

Totally agree. I have a $500 Imperial Eastman flaring kit, and from what I'd read online about the nightmares of flaring stainless, I opted for nickel copper as well. My original lines lasted since I bought her brand new 33 years ago. I figure the nickel copper will outlive me at this point. So...

Fuel Pump Only Runs Off Oil Pressure Switch

Thanks @Schurkey. First, thank you for your detailed replies, they are very helpful at clearing this up in my quickly advancing age. I totally agree the wiring is undersized, which is my main drive to keep the tan wires run in the parallel factory configuration and to get this circuit...
