    After doing more research I think I'm going to put some vortec heads on the tbi 350 and maybe try to research some cam specs for a vortec and get one similar, my 98 burban had much more ass than the tbi, if I can build my tbi block similar to that I would be happy

    OK, the tbi block needs heads the 305 was complete and the 70s block I believe is a high nickel block and that is basically brand new I had a machine shop go through it to build a 383 stroker but I no longer want to go that route

    I've heard that it's tough to do as well but mainly for the square bodies, I've had the ones with barn doors before and they look damn close, I live about 5 minutes away from the junk yard so maybe I'll start gathering some knowledge by checking it out there

    I appreciate all the help guys, the only thing i havent tried is a compression test and fuel pressure, the best way to hear it missfire is if you try to do a burnout, i do have a scan tool but every thing looks fine to me
