Probably a very stupid question but my truck has been running fine besides burning oil, I went to the store the other day and when I left the store it had a ticking sound, got home popped the hood and pulled the valve cover and found out one of the pushrods on the #3 cylinder is bent, can I replace just the pushrod or should I tear down and inspect cam?

That's how it looked when I took the valve cover off, I only drive it a 1/4 mile like this

Have you check your torque converter bolts? Also have you isolated where the noise is coming from? Use a stethoscope or a long screwdriver?

I'd say you would be okay just replacing the pushrod. My concern is why it bent in the first place. Were your rocker arms loose? Definitely check your other rocker arms for the proper torque.

I am buying a LO5 350 from a 92 K1500 to replace my LO3 305 in my 90 K1500. I know I need the ECU but should I get the wiring harness with the PROM also? And does anyone know the performance specs of the LO5? (HP & Torque)
