Well this thread is subbed for life. Truckn you have some mad retro skills and when I get some money to throw around you may just have a new favorite customer! Still making the white 4 corners? And any chance you could retro some blue leds into the headlamp housings of a 97? I'm thinking something like this but alot less obvious and "I hot glued autozone LEDs to my lights" looking.

I'm a perfectionist, attention to detail is a must! If I can see the light source (actual LED diode) then it just looks cheesy.

I prefer the ambient light, the glow. The end result looks takes far more effort but is superior.

Headlight glow: I'd only do Amber or White.

Thank you for the compliment!

Who said I was making smart a$$ comments. I actually read your thread on your mod. I love what you did but, like truckn, I am a perfectionist myself and would prefer hidden leds. That's why I came here. Didn't mean to step on any toes or come off like a ******. Sorry bout that. I want the glow but I just don't want to see the LEDs glued on. If I hadn't read your thread this idea would have never crossed my mind. So actually I want to thank you for a
Unique mod idea that I would have never come up with on my own.

Why dont you just buy the little 4" strips and use the holes for the headlight bulbs to kinda "hang" it in position then use a pencil or something to guide it to the edge (against the lens) and stick it on the inside? You wouldnt be able to see it at all at night and you could just drill a tiny hole to run the wires through then seal with silicone.

Wait, that made no sense as i typed it :nono:

Where's the "Like" button?!? lol!!!

The only correct way to do it would be to remove the lens.....and if it were me(not jacking danny's biz, so don't ask me to do this), I'd go the professional route and not even use LEDs in the first place, especially if you're only doing a single color.

Danny can text me if this peaks his interest and if he decides to take on this retrofit. ;)
