Get over it and just do it. Or come visit WA. I have plenty of mods I could help with, I have no qualms drilling 15 holes in your roof.

Don't use GM stuff then. The huge middle hole isn't necessary with the pacer kit according to the instructions....

I would stick to the GM stuff personally. The nice thing about the GM base gasket with the large hole is the gasket is designed to fit into the hole and further seal it. If you combine that with the rubber expanding well nuts like i used, the possibility of water ingress is virtually impossible.

Biggest thing is if you use GM parts that are used, make sure the bases are still soft, and the lenses aren't cracked around the screw holes.

I did mine just like you did an I agree on the GM stuff. Once you get past drilling that big hole I think in the long run it's better. It's rained a lot here since I've done mine an I've had no leakage either.
