Decided to take another look at swapping the O2 sensor out for the heated one this morning. Current state appears to be a 1994 vintage.

You must be registered for see images attach


Going to have to break out the wallet wrench and just get the local napa shop to deal with it. Nothing left of the existing to grab except with a pipe wrench/channel locks/etc.

Also realized I'm missing a bolt from the transmission pan....

O2 sensors can be a PITA for sure.I know when I installed a new one years ago I cross threaded it so it's gonna be fun when it comes time to change it.I know,I know....dumb ass me LOL.
Thats a problem for future you, maybe even someone else.
Ugh. That might be easier to just weld a new bung next to that one and cut the pigtail off. :superhack:
Yeah, I dropped by napa today and talked to them about welding in a new bung. Not really something I want to deal with. It'll be getting a heated sensor wired in when it happens. Already have the stuff to do it, just not the motivation with household projects occurring.
