Yep, it was a '58 Apache longbed that had been swapped onto a '94 dually frame, with the 6.5td/NV4500. The frame had a major static drop. The guy that built it did a pretty good job of the swap and also made a dually bed out of the stepside bed by replacing the bed header panel and tailgate with fleetside parts, made it the perfect width. The wheelbase difference required he move the fenders a little bit.
I un-did a few minor things I didn't care for, scored the V8 hood emblem (rare) and Viking 60 emblems for the fenders, replaced the front tires as they were just some P-rated bean bags, drove it for a while and collected the parts to convert the electronic-controlled injection pump setup to the '93 mechanical setup - injection pump, injector hard lines, Turbomaster waste gate control, engine harness, regular accelerator pedal setup, all that junk.. then sold the thing because I was working 6 nights a week and had no spare time to mess with it.
How it looked when I sold it:

Spotted later in a post about the Texas Heatwave show, looks like the new owner painted the wheels green, added GMT400 trim rings and later model center caps, put a floor in the bed, and replaced the GMT400 cab markers with some ugly "vintage" chrome things.
