Over time, it seems everything gets bigger and fatter (including Americans...:rotflmao:). Not entirely the cause, but certainly goofy regs don't help matters - this is from a decade ago but still applies:

.
Thanks, one of the comments caught my eye, the higher the front, the less visibility, the greater chance of hitting a pedestrian in the first place. Sometimes the solutions are worse than the problems they are supposed to be solving.

Note to self. Don't post anymore pics of my truck on here. :buttkick:

Seriously, if we all had the same taste, this would be a boring world to live in. It's OK we don't all like the same things. :waytogo:

When you have perfection (or as close to it as we mortals ever get) anything else is going to suffer by comparison......
And y'all know there is gonna be a certain amount of trash talking on here too!

I didn't mean it as a criticism, just an observation. We don't see many of the newer trucks down here in NZ so I had never seen them side by side like that. Keep on posting them pictures.

Here's one from today, while we were headed to the place I rented the trailer from (my usual U haul place was out of enclosed trailers). And a bonus pic of Rawhide, still loaded, before we went out to unload.... You can see the truck is just about leveled, and the bed had to have at least a half ton of tables and stuff in it. Plus the trailer was likely at or close to capacity, which according to the sticker inside, is 1800#.

No worries, I was joking around, gonna take more than that to get me upset. :)

@HotWheelsBurban you could just about fit that trailer in the bed of the truck.

Yep 5'x8', it's about the same size ain't it? I have two spaces at this show, and I fill the booth up with tables and merch. So I bring a lotta stuff....
A buddy of mine wants to sell me his truck bed trailer (made from a 60-66 long bed truck with a camper shell on it) so by the end of the year I should hopefully have that instead of renting. Main reason for the enclosed trailer is to keep my stuff dry and secure on the trip and after show loadout at the motel.
For the smaller meets, or one I only have one space at, I can get all the tables and boxes/totes of toys and parts in the bed. The one in Conroe, north of Houston, in February, that's how we did. The totes stack, and I put a tarp over them to keep the dew or light rain off things. The totes are not watertight, so if it's gonna be raining I'd have to bag them. Easier then, to have an enclosed trailer or a shell....but it's so much harder to see out of the truck with a shell on it. The freeflow gate makes it very easy to see who's trying to get up my backside....
