Nate here. Equipment operator and truck driver from Vancouver Island British Columbia. Been lurking around for awhile figure I'd say hey and post a pic of my truck. Its a 1994 silverado with a 5.7 auto. Previous owner lowered it 2" front and 4"? rear... I think.. Haven't done anything aside from maintenance on it yet. Future plans are new oem tail lights, lower profile tires and dropping it a bit more (4/6) . AC pump started making a bad whining noise so I've pulled it off the road till I can replace it (been driving my '91 GTI in the meantime.. my other obsession). If anybody has tackled an AC pump replacement on their own let me know if you have any tips etc. Cheers and talk to you all soon hopefully.

Welcome, from the big smoke across the 'Strait' from ya!

Yup, that looks like a 2/4 drop. Nice truck.

Going from a 2/4 to a 4/6 is a bit of a PITA. The front spring hangers have to be swapped back to stock. The driver's side requires really small hands, or remove the gas tank, & that's easier to do with the box off.

Good lookin truck! The a/c is actually pretty simple to change as long as the lines are clean.

Vigh J your trucks gorgeous man. Fast Orange your truck is part of the inspiration for mine.
eck, I think I should be able to do most of the ac pump install myself but I am a little worried about cleaning the lines etc. I heard you have to hook it up to a special pump for an hour or so to take out the moisture and Im assuming the recharging has to be done at a shop. Found a re-man pump at lordco for $190 which is alot cheaper than the $400 a shop quoted me. Maybe this weekend I'll put it in depending on the weather. It's been pouring rain here...
