This may be a bit of an odd post but I'm going to upload an image of my truck then been and plead w/ the gods of gmt400 for info...

I have 2 gmt 400s and one is highly modified... My stepside extcab has a 383 with headers and super soaker tbi

Along with some goodies inside. It's under-lit red (led) with eye or Hikari led headlights. Complete fosgate p1 system inside with Kenwood deck and 98 doors on the 94 w/ a 2018 Ford center seat and two racing buckets.. the back is filled with 2 15inch fosgate p2s.
The lenses in the photo aren't the ones I have now.. They are now glass crystal lens.

I'd buy the kit. However, I've never seen those corners before.

I actually like the ones you currently have, but if you want the amber clear style corners, I'd just get the whole set. The clear amber lens corners are almost next to impossible to find separate. But, that set is for a GMC. Unfortunately, if you are just buying for the corners, they won't work because GMC corners are different than Chevy corners (the headlights and parking lamps will work on a Chevy). With that specific kit, I'm not sure if they make a Chevy version, I have only seen GMC.

I've thought about painting the corners with rc car paint that's transparent... Would it work?

I'll take a new photo of the truck.. the one I showed was a bit out dated.

Please excuse the frost, it's a cold morning.

I don't baby the thing either, I use it to haul and pull about everything.

Yeah you could use a transparent paint, or you could use an amber vinyl tint that would make them amber, then you'd still be able to keep the nice clear look.

If you can find it (I have never looked at tint stuff before), I'd go with the tint. Otherwise, the amber paint you mentioned and some clear over top would give you a similar look. I like the current headlights much better than the ones in the first pic :waytogo:

Thank you, they're actually glass not plastic. I'm hoping that remedies the fading and yellowing. Wish I could find all the plastics in glass.
