Why so many 400s leaving?

Ive had a 01,05,08 and a 96 chevy. I like my 96 as much as any. Alot of that is due to it being pd for and insurance is $34 a month. The 96 gets the same mpg as the others and the others cost 300 to 600 a mnth and insurance was over 100. Ill go with my old truck lol

Not carrying full coverage is freckin fantastic. And no payment on top of it is freckin sweet... definitely no argument there. I'm shocked that your mileage is the same... I get 11mpg no matter what I do. Hopefully the 5.3 swap solves that problem.

Hell yeah. I've had several new trucks with big monthly bills. They were nice n all but I'll take a paid for obs anyday of the week.

What is your rear gear ratio? I get 13 city, and 16-17 on the freeway (cruising 65).

Mine are the same as you and i get 16 mpgs freeway (70mph)

i have had many different types of trucks and i just love the gmt 400's for price, parts being easy to access and alot cheaper and just around great trucks in my opinion
