So I know it exists, and I'm surprised my cc dually doesn't have it. What all came with the 11k gvw package? T case? Axle? Bigger brakes? 4.56 gears? Bigger leaf pack? I'm not having much luck poking around myself.

I was looking that up awhile ago, not that I remember it all.

Until you stepped up to the C3500HD with was 15000pound gross, the next biggest stuff at 12000pounds gvwr (cab and chassis) with the highest towing capacity would have been a 2wd reg cab with a big block or 6.5 diesel.

The standard issue stuff came heaviest at 8600 or 9200lbs in the 2500 or 3500 trucks.

The 3500hd had a doubled frame for the center most of the truck.

Cab and chassis 4x4 stuff came with a BW4470 type transfer case.

Not sure what else was different, I think I got all that right. Or very near, I would imagine model and year and options changed a bit thru the years

Edit (regardless of gvwr, the highest towing capacity was 11000 pounds I believe) or something something

Whatever it is, it's not the HD. Sounds like a unicorn, so I am therefore intrigued. HD ain't gonna happen. They're all projects and not 4wd. More of a unicorn hunt than the 11k pkg.

I could dig around on the C3500 my dad has, 4.56s, a massive trans cooler, big ass leaf pack and a huge overload sounds like it could be? Unless that's standard on a 3500 OBS, are the 4.56s a relatively uncommon in a non HD variant one ton?

I know they offered 4.56 gears but I've only ever seen 4.10's in these trucks

8600, 9200, 12000 or 15000 I thought were the only big numbers.

9200 is SRW 3500. 10,000 is dually. 11,000 is optional. Anything more is HD.

11000 is 2wd cab and chassis, and 12000 is 4wd cab and chassis.

My 99 that I sold to dad is a 11K GVWR cab and chassis, and is 6.5L 5spd 2wd with 4.10s

they came in variants of 9 foot flatbed or 11 foot flatbed capable.

That had deep frame rails, spaced at 34 inches, and the 96+ had dual fuel tanks. 95 and earlier had a 22 gallon midship standard, and a behind axle 32? gallon optional.

Where are you getting your numbers from? I've just never read anything higher than a 10000 gvwr, even for K3500s.

IDK about 3500s but my 95 K2500 has a 32 gallon tank mounted in the standard location.
