want it louder

i want my exhaust louder. i curently have a stock 350 with stock manifolds, stock 2.5 y pipe, then 3 inch pipe going into the cat and continues into the muffler (which is a FM) then goies to two 2.5 outlets into 3 inch tips. i want it to be louder and im looking for some suggestions on muffles or just ideas. ive been keeping an eye on the clearence rack at summit for some shorty headers but havent found any yet. all they have are long tube.

Drop the muffler and run it 3" out to the front of yer rear tire.

In That case go 3" out from muffler to the front of the wheel, or mod yer 2.5 pipes to the front of the rear tire. Shortening the pipes or larger pipes will louden things up.

glasspacks do count. that what i used to have on my explorer. i was looking at possably getting a new muffler and taking the FM off. kinda want a cherry bomb extream but dont know how it would sound. and would probably run 3 inch out and just dump it

the flowtech headers are pretty cheap like 150 bucks or go on ebay they are some where around 120 for SS,i would buy a bullet and throw it out in front of the rear tire like the post above say.

If you do put on a glasspack, get it dumped right after the glasspack, that will sure enough be loud
