I am trying to do my own exhaust on my 98 C1500. I have already put a tip on the end out the side and it sounds better. I am ultimately going to cut the muffler at the hanger on both sides and reuse the inlet and outlet pipe that currently runs. I am having trouble finding a size or accurate online listing for a Y pipe to merge the true dual setup that is there now. Speculation dictates the inlet dual is 2 inch feed and single 2.5 inch to behind the rear tire. I have no Idea how wide of an inlet Y pipe I would need though, it looks like 5 inches but I am not sure exactly.
