Thanks for posting the pictures. I didn't wait for the pictures to load on the first page yesterday.
So is the enough clearance in the top lens for the bulb and socket? It looks like it would hit the lens before the plug could be twisted into the mounting hole..

There is plenty of room. I just did this today to mine and it looks sweet. I just drilled a hole though so the chrome on the inside didnt get messed up.
