I have a 6" Rough Country (paid around $1100) on my '98 K3500 and all I have to say are great things about how it performs. The install was a pain, though. One of the front crossmembers was welded incorrectly so i had to do some trimming for my front differential to fit properly, but other than that no issues. It has survived a 1200 mile road trip from Texas to Colorado and a few rough mountain trails. All of my angles look good, too.
I've heard good things about Tuff Country. Some of the sled pullers use them from what i was told. You can get them in a 1-pc or 3-pc design with or without rear leaf springs. Theyre about the same price as a Rough Country.
I read so many bad things about rc. Its just engraved to stay away. How long have you hsd your kit installed ?
