Thanks for all the tips and posts,,looks like it is gonna be a flow master 40 series dumped at the rear end and a k&n air filter for a few ponies. I plan on a big cubic inch small block in the future with a th400 and low gears in the 14 bolt, slicks and maybe a 100 shot, that will start in the fall,winter. I finally got the stereo upgrade done so it is time to tackle other areas. The front end is tight, no slop in the rag joint, I believe the previous owner spent a ton getting this thing back in shape before he sold it. I still have no gas gauge, but have not invested alot of time in the cause either. I really dread pulling the bed, lol.
