I just happened to notice today that the passenger side mirrors angles in more than the drivers side. Is it supposed to be like this?

Ended up wiring only the clearance light up, disconnected the glass turn signal, and not using the backup lights. Im pretty happy with it.

Well I currently have the GMT800 mirrors installed on my Yukon (power, heated, marker/turn) but I picked up a set of K2XX mirrors for 99-02 Trucks that were loaded so I could keep my heat. I'm actually in the process of modifying them to my needs. Separate the glass turn and the clearance light, painting the chrome, and taking the amber clearance lenses off and replacing with clear lenses and adding green LED's in them. I already have the driver side done and ready to swap the bases with my current GMT800 style bases.

Here's what my current setup is.

Here is the K2XX mirrors when they came in a couple weeks ago.

Then I disassembled the mirrors and disassembled the clearance light.

The green LEDs I added.

Here is the driver side mirror done, all I have to do is the passenger side and install them
