Nice! I have always liked the stepside bed on these trucks, and have seriously consitered finding one for my new to me 94.
My little bro had a 2001 RCLB C1500 for a short time with a 4.3L and a V6, it wasnt a V8 but it pushed that truck around damn good for a V6!

agreed with them plate it box it, then find ya another frame if you wanna build it.

I'd just plate and weld it/big plate and bolt it, 3/16" plate is plenty for just a crack

Yep! Always do more than what's required!

Have you checked for other cracks? Like the other framerail across from where the crack that you have is now?
