color matching door handles

Can anyone lead me in the right direction of a write up on what paint and how to go about making them smooth. Also I've heard its a biotch to take the door handles off so could I do them on the truck? Any help appreciated! O and I wanna do the mirrors. TIA

They arent that bad to get out. Pretty easy actually. Getting the door panels off is the hardest part. You should be able to sand them smooth. Don't paint them on the truck.
