I have a 99 OBS Crew Cab short bed C2500. The only upgrade to the engine is central inj to multi-port. I want to get 350 hp at the crank. I'm thinking a mild cam and tune...already has dual free flow exhaust. All suggestions appreciated .

I would focus more on torque than a horsepower number. In a heavy truck like that, I would want something in the 204-212 @ 0.050 range on the intake lobe. You could go as much as 218-224 @ 0.050 with a torque converter and gearing upgrade. Summit has an affordible cam, the 8800 that works very well as do other manufacturers. It will likely not hit 350 hp but has a nice power increase across the whole rpm range when dialed in correctly. You will notice the 380-400+ ft/lbs of torque at 2,500-4,500 rpm a lot more than you would 350 hp @ 5,500 rpm.
