That I did. Have ways heard it would be to dim without. Like I said they look way better in person. I actually tinted my gauge lense since they don't dim. Haven't installed it yet

I did exactly this, for Red LEDs, looks Awesome, I cant wait to install them! my only problem now is my Hvac, the buttons are green... that looks ty! you can sand the green off, you'll go right through. Any one have any other suggestion's? I was thinking about maybe sanding them down so the green isn't as thick, so that the Red LEDs can still shine thrue it, but not as dime...

Question how did you get the circuit board off the display? I got the back container off from the board, and I think its two like 1/8(idk size just noticed they are really really small) screws holding it in place if not, whats holding the board and display together?
Did you ever get an answer for the socket size needed?
