Can a 2WD truck be lifted?

My grandpa sold me his '94 Suburban 1500, just about stock everything. It's a 2WD and I heard only 4WD can be lifted. Any help?

Yes, they can be lifted. Easier than a 4wd truck.

yes they can! A lot easier, cheaper and look cleaner.
Here's mine. Only a 2" lift though.

The only thing is it defeats the purpose of the lift, unless your purpose is for looks

I wouldn't lift a 2WD truck much but that's just me..

just out of curiosity, why do you say it defeats the prupose of the lift?

I wouldn't lift a 2WD truck much but that's just me..


I like mine lifted, was tired of it being lowered, and I don't think it's to much, or defeating the purpose of anything. Mine is just for looks because I have my 94 to go off-roading.
