Yes, dust cap is too large, I can't fit the center caps on the front on my Camaro SS wheels. Someone mentioned to me about looking at other newer year OBS truck dust caps that have a lower profile, I believe

Dorman has a dust cap that has a small domed center instead of the large cylinder shape of the original. I had posted the part # here a while back but have no idea where; maybe some creative searching will turn it up. I do recall having to use a small punch to dimple the inside of the lip to make it fit tighter. And in some cases, still had to smack the dome with a hammer to flatten it just a tiny bit more for center cap clearance, probably on an older design set of Boss 338's or something like that.

Anyone happen to still keep up with this thread, Had a question about 5x5-4.75 with a 12mmx1.5 stud vs 5x127-5x120 with a 14mmx1.5 stud. Which would be the correct one for these trucks and rims?

i'm still following but i'm not sure what conversion you're trying to do. I literally just bought a set of adapters for my truck and bolted the wheels on.

Believe Camaro's have 14mm Studs.
I got some Vette wheels in the shop and those utilize 12mm Studs...same 5x4.75 Pattern.

my trucks adapters have 12mm studs. they fit fine. however, I cant use factory Camaro lugs (and therefore centercaps) because Camaro is 14mm. mine are 2010 Camaro steel 18s.

I just picked up a set of Camaro wheels, about to order spacers myself. These wheels really look great on these trucks!!
