Another Exhaust Question

Can't say I believe the rumors about no cats getting better mpgs, kinda thinking mine got better with cats an stock muffler. But that was long ago lol with stock manifolds, no cats, and after the cat pipe I've got 2.5 inch straight pipes I'm getting 15.5 mpg's

I have a bone stock system and im getting 15.2 down the highway at 30 degree temps and 18 mpg in summer

Back when I first got her, she got 18 with a completely stock system, if I had an extra $300 lying around I'd get a new set for the hell of it. I don't doubt it would be an improvement and a majority folks of the small town I live in would probably thank me for doing so lol
