No, he just didn't want the wheels or the lights. I think he's wanting to keep the brush guard though but I'll ask him.

Yeah I love them too. I have no real use but I want one. There's about 6 of them running around my side of town. A reeeaaaalllyyy nice pewter one belongs to an former neighbor of mine.

Found a pic of the top. Looks like the ribs wedge it up in the top of the bumper. Still don't know what kept it from coming out though.

They might just be stuck from age. I think your best bet will be to take the bumper off if you're still having trouble when you try again.

They were loose and wiggled around plenty, just something caused them to hang up. I'll figure it out eventually lol.
