Made a keeper to keep the dowel pin from working itself out . Before

After

Front crank was a little wore, so put new speedy sleeve on

New Front main seal

New gear housing gasket, haven't put this one on yet, still have to do power steering pump and injection pump gaskets before I put the cover back on

Yes in my opinion I think it's resting place will be the scrap yard, when it rolled at 60mph the cab mounts and flatbed mounts were tore off, frames tweaked, cab also is tweaked, but motor, trani, t-case, wheels, axles, interior parts, and other parts in great shape, after I pull everything I want or need she'll get hauled out

Oh hell! I didn't realize it got iced going that fast!

Will have more pictures in the near future, also replaced any other gaskets/seals I could find, I haven't gotten to the injection pump/power steering pump, and exhuast gaskets yet but will take pictures when I do, still doing more things to the motor so I will keep all ya'lls posted.

Gotten a few last gaskets and some other things done to the motor as of late January
Oil cooler gaskets
You must be registered for see images attach

Push tube cover gasket
You must be registered for see images attach

Also set clearance on the rockers
You must be registered for see images attach

Then painted this side of the motor since I wouldn't be able to get to it with the pumps on

Looks good so far! I noticed a lot of the Cummins fanboys I've talked to didn't realize the big flaw in their "Indestructible" 5.9L, but other than that I don't think of anything else wrong with these motors.

Well,

The fact GM didn't put them in 400s is pretty wrong now that I think of it...

Got the pumps on everything's all in time

Then got the gear housing cover and gasket with the front main seal on

Only have a few more things to go on the motor and it will be ready for paint and polishing!

Nice build! How's the frame on that crew cab? Depending on your location, I may be interested when you get to that point. I'm in Michigan.
