Don't mind my horrible welding job. it's functional, but not pretty! My little grinding wheel makes all the difference. Windshield is in. The roof is in primer and ready for more sanding/paint next.

I hate you. I couldn't get the welded in sections on Roscoe that smooth, even with a grinding wheel.

Nice work!
I spend about 4hrs welding. I made 3-4 passes on each piece. Weld, grind, then weld in the low spots, grind, weld, grind. It took a while for sure. If it wasn't in such a visible spot I wouldn't have done that much to it. The top of the roof on my Excursion had 2 rust holes in it. I barely even ground down the welds since you can't see it anyway!
