Spent the evening putting all the pieces back together. The trans shop forgot to ship my locking 5th gear nut, so I haven't installed the tail housing yet but will tonight.

For the record, these transmissions are really easy to rebuild. Just have to have the right pullers, installers and a press.

Planning to re-install this in the truck Friday. Then on to other fun mods.

bread van 19.5s would look good with gmt400 caps

but you have 6 brand new tires.....I think the steel wheels painted gloss black with the chrome trim/bead ring things and the chrome center caps would look pretty nice also.

I vote 19.5 aluminum alcoas! like the ones off the new cummins 4500's.

Yeah gonna keep the 16s for now. New tires and all. Maybe down the road...

Only downfall of the 19.5's is they are ridiculously priced tires...

We got those for our 3500HD dump trucks i think they were like close to $275 per tire for the all terrains
