I was wondering if I could install leaf sprigs from a 3/4 truck on my C1500. The part I want is (35-2901) from www.lmctruck.com. How much would this lift my truck in the rear? I am looking for added strength, not lift. Or would it just be easier to use and Add-A-Leaf or helper springs?

well helper springs wont really lift the truck. but if you want to just lift the truck just get some good solid lift blocks! cheap and easy to do with new U bolts of course! your old ones if stock are probably toast anyways if in winter salt areas! ive removed a few old U bolts that im shocked the axle didnt just snap and fall out from the truck they were so rusted away!
if you swap springs that might have different size and widths which just means youd have more parts to swap as well. blocks are the easiest cheapest way to lift

I'm 99% sure that 3/4 ton springs are a direct replacement for 1/2 ton springs. Sometimes they will raise the rear of the truck a little but not always, just depends how worn out your stock springs are

i had 3/4 ton springs put under my 95 ecsb 1500 and i really liked them. they didn't squat nearly as much when towing but they did raise the back of the truck a couple of inches. mine was a 4x4 by the way.

was that lift enough to need lift in the front?

I didn't but I could've cranked it level with the torsion bars. It was just a work truck. It probably sat 2" higher in the rear.
