Yeah not going to cut corners here, reliability is key, or keys rather lol.Yeah the LMM in the square had the 2-piece crank mod a couple of years ago. Pinned the new one.

Yeah sadly I had a cab from a “my dad bought it when I was a kid” trucks.Yeah luckily this wasn't one of those like "grandpa bought new", just some random truck I drug home, so i'll do whatever it takes to save time/money, and this cab would take forever to make right. It kinda sucks I bought all the patch panel stuff but oh well, plenty of people looking for that stuff.
Impressive! If it wasn't for the ridiculous amount of rust I would push through the mice issue but it's just not worth it in this case. My 88 Trans Am was about that bad when I bought it out of a field but it had good bones otherwise, was definitely a chore to get rid of all traces of mice though. But you're right, these 90+ degree days are not helping me at all... makes that smell extra ripe lol.Don't give up! It helps if you wait until the dead of winter to clean it out. On a 30°F day Roscoe didn't even smell that bad. Once I trashed the interior and pulled the dash I sanded, primed, and painted the cab and it doesn't stink at all.
That's a full foot of mouse poo in the pic below.

Luckily around me we have a pretty good selection of Upullits and junkyards so i'm going to keep my eye on them constantly for interior stuff.Too bad this guy is not closer to you. Always loved maroon interiors.
Edit: I also like the console-less 60/40 so I can throw my right arm up across the back.
