Figured I better start a thread to document my truck.
It's a 1996 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado 2wd with 3.42s, a 5.7 Vortec, and a 4L65e transmission.
Things done at this point:
-Fixed rust
-Pinstriping
-Oiled up tailgate latches and freed them up (works like new now!)
-CB and antennas.
-Painted bottom black with bedliner
-Fake train horn air horn
Things to do:
-88-89 Quad sealed beam headlights
-Aftermarket LED tail lights
-Remove clear on wheels and polish (hopefully, they're pretty rough)
-Try and restore the tailgate banner
-Polish up the toolbox
-Exhaust
-Air compressor
-Hood
Pictures:
Toting around the golf cart
Right after a fresh wash
Right before said fresh wash
Those are all the pictures I've got for now, hopefully much more to come.
As you might be able to see, the wheels are pretty rough.
