Oh he got that Stage 3 cam. No spacer between the crank and flexplate on my '99 L31.

No rubbing on engine block?

It didn't rub when I took it off, nor did the new one rub when I put that on. You sure you got the right flexplate?

Yeah, bought 2 new ones & different makers, both rubbed. Put original on, rubbed too. That's when I remembered that dang spacer. A regular sb 350 spacer is gapped differently also.

Parts removed, rear axle ready for rebuild, totally wire brushed/wheeled and painted the undercarriage & frame in Por15 Top Coat black and fender sanded for deep blue bedliner paint (whole truck is sanded & primed).

Well, the truck is going to be on hold for 2 months.
My Gall Bladder went gangrene & my appendix was very inflamed, so the doctors removed them both, then my liver was filling up, so they put a drain on it.

Once I leave the hospital, I have a long time friend and his wife going to let me stay at their house for a couple weeks since they have 7 stairs to a bathroom & my house has 14 stairs.
