I bought it in 2017 for a health/strength recovery project(VA Meds almost killed me).for $2k, 264k miles & no rust in Oklahoma, I was just going to get everything running good, started tearing it down, things happened. Moved it to Ohio in 2021 & by now $25k in parts(I'll add the total in receips one day). But missing one thing I can't find anywhere, the spacer between the motor crank & flywheel/flexplate? Pm me if ya have one? And this truck ain't for sale either, really sorry.. keep reading tho.
I bought a 2017 Callaway Camaro ZL1 1LE SC750 750HP 739TQ in 2021 with 5k miles and did some small upgrades/modifications, its around 800HP+ now, So I'm good there, .I'm back into my project build finally!
This is where I'm at; wire brushed the frame & body underneath, then painted it with POR 15 classic black top coat, wire brushed, sanded, primered body & inside cab, painted POR 15 cbtc 5 1/2" Skyjackerr Soft Ride leaf springs & installed in rear, installed Zone 6" lift in front, Skyjackerr upper control arms, brake power booster, master cylinder, Rancho 9000XL shocks in front, 4L60e, tranny dipstick, tranny pan, Energy tranny mount , transfer case & connected, ECM & tray, ran light wires, repaired all wiring with environmental splices, new wire & connectors, Cyclone intake manifold, oil pan, valve covers, DNA shorty headers, spark plugs & lined up engine, installed Energy motor mounts, painted engine hardware & brackets POR 15 cbtc & engine parts & components Rustoleum Blue. Cleaned, painted, emptied & vented gas tank(removed 4 garage paper towels, definitely 2nd tank & they smashed the fuel gauge wires badly).
New & rebuilt parts;
Rebuilt the 5.7L vortec, bored ..030 over, cast flat top pistons, crank is .010 under, rebuilt heads, honed & polished. Stage 3 Comp Cam. Holley Sniper EFI, Hyperspark, ignition box, coil, Distributor kit, 340LPH/90GPH fuel pump, SS fuel lines, Sniper EFI fuel rails, 4" aluminum intake spacer, high performance Cyclone intake manifold, 3 quart extra pan.
DNA shorty headers, Gibson dual exhaust, 2.5" electric cutouts, Harmonic balancer, pulleys, sensors, switches,, new water pump, oil pump, a/c compessor, a/c system & lines, power steering pump, high amp alternator, starter, brake power booster, master cylinder, 3 new radiators, heater core, all the engine & tranny cooling lines & hoses, engine & tranny dipsticks, new braided copper grounds, multiple sizes of split wire loom, tesa tape 51608
Senergy engine, tranny and body mounts & suspension bushings, Champion copper spark plugs, 8mm racing plug wires, Morose wire blooms, Racing Power Co. tall finned valve covers with matching air filter cap, freeze plug block heater, new battery cables.
Monster Transmission rebuilt my 4L60e to 500hp & 650tq rating, 2 quart extra pan, 1500 stall converter with gear lock and I replaced the transfer case.
