I am From Fremont Ohio, About 30 south of Toledo. According to the Laws posted on this site, Ohio allows 0 tint on the windshield except for a 5" sun shade, 35 % on the front side glass, and no restrictions any where else on the vehicle. That being said the installer who did my tint says that the Highway Patrol is the only Law enforcement department in this area that has a device to test the Tint and that 90% of the front glass he does is 20% witch usually matches the factory tint pretty well. So far he has never heard of anybody getting a ticket for 20% on the front side windows. I do not know if window tint is a primary offense in ohio.Where in Ohio are you at ? I'm in Loveland Ohio about 20 miles north of Cincinnati,
The reason why I don't just darken up the rest of the truck, is because I don't know for sure if I like the 20% on the side windows. I admit it is perfect for the bright sunlight but for me It is hard to see in the mirrors to back up in low light conditions. I have never owned a vehicle before with front side tinted windows and I am just not use to it .
